Four Counties Garden Club partners with Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital Horticultural Therapy Program

Four Counties Garden Club supports T&E Cares each year.

The Horticultural Therapy Program at Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Main Line Health, gives patients the opportunity to contribute to their recovery in a natural and calming environment. This program not only provides physical and cognitive benefits to patients but it helps those in our community who are in need of fresh produce. In this process, patients sow the seeds, plant the seedlings in the garden, and  harvest and weigh the produce. The produce, organized by the patients to be picked up, goes to local food banks and other community organizations such as Urban Tree and Home of the Sparrow in Philadelphia.

The mission of T&E Care is to maintain a network of people providing financial and other material assistance to persons in need in and around the Tredyffrin and Easttown township area in Chester County. For the past several years, Four Counties Garden Club has made 40-50 holiday centerpieces for families receiving support from T&E Care.
